The United Community of African Students (UCAS) and the International Students Organisation Wageningen (ISOW) will organize an amazing African Party together! During this evening there will be a presentation, a performance, snacks and of course lots of music and dance from Africa!
Come and enjoy the spirit of Africa and dance on the rhythms of this vibrant continent!

ISOW is back and ready to cheer you up during the long winter evenings!! Classes start again on 9th of January with our new courses: Yoga, Meditation, Greek ... Hope to see you soon!

05.12.2011 Become a buddy or mentor for the Winter AID!

To talk in international terms, the first semester is coming to an end. This means a new one is coming up! For the second semester a lot of new international students will come to Wageningen. Would you like to give them a warm welcome? Become a mentor or buddy during the Winter AID. The Winter AID is from monday 6-02 to sunday 12-02 similar to the AID during summer but than more intimate. There will be all kinds of activities in day and night time to show the new arrival students Wageningen. The new students will be matched to buddies or mentors. 3 buddies/mentors together with 15 students will form a buddy family. Buddies will stay with the buddy family for the whole semester; a mentor will only be with the family during the Winter AID.

There are still places available in the ISOW pole dancing course. So if you're interested, do not hesitate to join! :)
Classes are on Monday: 19:00-20:30 and Wednesday: 19:00-20:00.

Are you an international student who:
-struggles to cook something delicious with the ingredients you find here in the supermarket?
-has no idea what to buy from the overful shelves?
-enjoys cooking together in a small group?

Then this course is for you!

Classes: 6 in total (3 classes in period 2 and 3 classes in period 3)
Day and time: Every thursday evening from 18:00-20:00. Starting on 1 December 2011.
Location: Monika's kitchen (5 min away from C1000 by bike). The first meeting will be in front of the C1000.
Costs: 3 euros roughly (depending on the ingredients)
